We will be doing just a social to reconnect after our summer break. No speakers will be present this month, but we anticipate there being plenty of individuals that have the knowledge to help you grow or start your business.
I would suggest bringing a notepad and pen in addition to your taste buds and connect 4 'A' game. Food is sold at Growler USA, so bring your appetite as well.
Our four speakers, Courtney Barbee (Bookkeeping), Shannon Brien (Real Estate), Ashley Felton (Business and Employment Law), and Adrian DeGraff (Marketing) will be having a roundtable discussion on each of their areas of expertise as well as the trials and tribulations associated with owning or working in a small business. Audience participation is encouraged.
HERE ARE THE DETAILS:
WHAT: MILLENNIAL SMALL BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE
WHEN: THURSDAY, JUNE 7, 2008
WHERE: STAG'S HEAD (106 GLENWOOD AVE, RALEIGH, NC)
While Stag's Head serves craft brews, they do not serve food; however, you are welcome to bring in outside food if you wish.
RSVP on the Meetup page or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org!
Our speaker, Danny Shaw, is going to discuss business designs and business strategy. Design goes hand in hand with company branding and is instrumental in attracting clients.
Stag's Head on Glenwood South (106 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh to be exact) will be our location. While Stag's Head serves craft brews, they do not serve food; however, you are welcome to bring in outside food if you wish.
Courtney Barbee will be discussing business accounting, so get excited. If you run your own business, you hope to make money, right? In order to run your business effectively you will need to make sure your "books" are in order. Our speaker can help you understand the basics of what you need to do to make sure your business is running correctly.
We will be enjoying great craft beer, wine, and board games with a special guest speaker, Brittney Murray. Brittney is a fellow millennial entrepreneur who runs her own marketing and branding firm. She has agreed to give us some pointers on how to properly market and brand your business.
Join our firm on Saturday, October 7th for some fun in Bond Park! We'll be one of many vendors at Dog Days of Cary to show support for Second Chance Pet Adoptions and the always-fun pet-friendly office! We will also be giving away TWO DOG-THEMED GIFT BASKETS with toys and treats from Phydeaux and Unleashed! These gift baskets are up for grabs, all you have to do is stop by our table and say hello! #MorethanLaw
